Do you have technical knowledge and hands-on experience?

We are looking to expand our team. An engineer with both technical knowledge and hands-on experience who is looking for an opportunity to work flexible work hours and with exciting and challenging tasks. We aim to provide our customers with a smooth seafastening service, and you will be in direct contact with our client from project pre-plan to final delivery. Expect to be a part of the full cycle of delivery - sales, engineering, and construction. You will become part of a creative work environment and have the opportunity to develop your technical and commercial skills. 

Responsibilities, task and expectations:

• Work with the project and customers' specification requirements and domain standards.
• Design parts, structures, assemblies, in CAD (Solidworks, Inventor, Fusion 360 ++).
• Various calculations, static and environmental loads, weld specification, FEM, structural loads.
• Prepare and produce necessary documentation for the project.
• Support the sales department when needed.
• Interface with clients to understand their technical needs and formulate a plan to solve their problem.
• Form and develop customer relations in order to support their operations.
• Participate in technical reviews to develop technical “know how” and problem solving.
• Travel will be required. On-site during mobilization of vessels.
• Be a part of a diverse team and motivate you colleagues.
• Share skills and learn from your colleagues.

Qualifications and Education:

• Degree preferably in engineering, mechanical, marine or other.
• 0+ years’ experience, we have a lot of experience to share.
• Proven working experience if relevant.
• Computer literate: Microsoft Office Suite, Mathcad and CAD software, and willing to learn new software.
• Written and oral Norwegian and/or English.

• Analytical & numerical skills is desired.
• Communicational skills.
• Ability to work in teams.
• Customer oriented skills are an asset.
